U.S. Bank Treasury Management Technical Sales Consultant in Omaha, Nebraska


The Technical Sales Consultant is a specialist focused on a specific set of treasury management products. This individual is a product and process subject matter expert, a seasoned sales professional, and a team player willing and able to provide nearly any level of sales support required and related to their assigned product(s). This individual works closely with their assigned Treasury Management Sales Consultants, Relationship Managers, Product Managers, Operations and Implementation teams and others, to engage local, regional and national customers and prospects to advance the team’s sales effort.


- Join in customer sales calls.

  • Assess and validate client’s business needs (i.e. current process and future desired process).

  • Develop complete customer solution related to supported product(s).

  • Conduct product/solution demonstrations via webinar and in-person as required.

  • Present the solution and close or assist in closing the deal.

  • Communicate customer requirements to implementation team, technology/operations groups, and Product Management as required.

  • Provide detailed hand-off of requirements to implementation team.

  • Participate in implementation kickoff meetings to assure a smooth transition and a detailed understanding of the sale is gained by the implementation team.

  • Maintain expert status and remain current with internal and external product developments and innovations.

  • As needed, actively work with customers and Product Management to identify potential product enhancements and new product ideas.

  • Support sales events/trade shows.

  • Actively ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.

  • Actively participate in any required corporate and business line training in these areas.

  • Follow account opening procedures and understand and follow internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.



- Business-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

  • Candidate must have excellent oral, written, technical, presentation, and training skills.

  • Proficient in solution based selling.

  • Demonstrated consultative selling background and experience.

  • Proficient and confident in assessing customer needs through listening and analytical acumen.

  • Capable of working effectively with Product Management, Relationship Management, and senior executives to assemble customer solutions.

  • Knowledge of Treasury Management receivables and payables solutions.

  • Understanding of entire working capital management cycle.

  • Experience in demonstrating Treasury Management complex/software based solutions.

  • Understanding of ERP systems and operations.

  • Experience in Treasury Management sales.


  • Experience in healthcare and specific experience and expertise with the bank’s Wholesale lockbox platform (FIS), Payment Consolidator, Payment Master and Consolidated Payables.
