U.S. Bank Treasury Management Corporate National Sales Manager in Omaha, Nebraska

FUNCTION

The leader will be responsible for Treasury Management Corporate Banking Sales on the National level. It will be heavily focused on both revenue generation and retention of the existing book of TM business. To do this job effectively, frequent interaction with LOB managers and clients is required. This position requires development of business strategies and sales objectives in support of such strategies, such as setting, monitoring and managing the metrics associated with such goals, and taking corrective action where needed. Other key aspects include: training and coaching of the staff under a new solutions oriented sales model, managing of recruitment for the Division, and given the current integration of the CPS product set in the TM selling process, skills in a solution selling environment and strong working knowledge of the CPS product set.

Responsible for directing the marketing, sales, operations and account management activities of multiple geographic regions or specialized sales groups within Treasury Management. Manage attainment of sales/budget goals and client satisfaction. Overall responsibility for Treasury Management business for major geographic regions, industry segment(s) or product line(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and grows a very large and very complex portfolio of corporate loans.

  • Prospects for and closes new business relationships and retains and expands relationships with existing customers.

  • Sells appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients, identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals.

  • Provides financial advice to customers.

  • Approves loans within assigned limits, managing loan and portfolio credit quality.

  • Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.

  • Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas.

  • Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.

  • Actively works with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

  • 12 years of banking experience.

  • 7 years of relationship management experience.

  • Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills.

  • Knowledge of unit(s) and relation to industry.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
