First Data’s Operations and Call Center functions are focused on providing the outstanding client service, support and experiences that are critical to our ongoing success. Our Operations owner-associates are responsible for the stability of our global network infrastructure by helping our financial institution clients with various aspects of transaction processing, including statement management, card production and ticket-issue resolution. Our Call Center owner-associates are often the first point of contact for our business clients, and they play an important role in driving client satisfaction. They are responsible for answering questions and resolving problems on a wide range of issues, including account activation inquiries, potential fraudulent activity and our full range of products and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between First Data and Clients on client implementations, conversion projects, program upgrades, technical changes or service projects that require less complex solutions. May be responsible for the entire implementation or specific areas as part of a implementation/conversion team. Interfaces with other First Data departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions. Interprets, consults and communicates First Data services and First Data products to clients, sales, and vendors. At times will be responsible for gathering client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation/conversion.

Scope of Job

Works on simple to moderately complex projects and tasks. At times will be apart of a team that is working a major and or highly complex project.

Autonomy

This level requires guidance from management and/or Senior Implementation Coordinators/Implementation Managers.

Job Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of FD system experience or relevant payment processing experience. Experience with coordinating multiple projects with minimal levels of complexity with management guidance. Bachelors degree preferred or relevant work experience.
