Job Description

Processing GL Accounting for North America Regions

  • Working with our outsourced group of accountants in India to ensure all monthly journals and open items get processed in time

  • Maintaining proper reconciliation of specified G/L accounts and managing the integrity of financial statements

  • Reviewing the monthly reconciliations with the respective Finance Managers/BU Controllers

  • Confirming proper treatment and compliance of all accounting transactions and policies

  • Coordinating with other stakeholders (Payroll, Controlling, HR) for proper accurate recording of corresponding transactions

  • Providing support to External Auditors for NA annual audits

  • Providing support to Internal taxation team and external taxation partners for tax audits

  • Providing support to the Statutory Compliance tasks and audit deliverables

  • Managing the monthly and quarterly vacation accruals


  • Hands-on experience in managing general ledger & payroll accounting / tax

  • SAP Financial System experience, or other ERP

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-motivated, high energy, ability to cope with stress and tight deadlines, team work

  • Intense attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of personal accountability. Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint are an advantage. Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Act with integrity and trust. High ethical standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years. Demonstrate/relevant accounting experience within a multinational company

  • ERP, SRM, Cash/Hedge and/or Payroll experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or equivalent experience
