We are currently seeking qualified talent to be responsible for monitoring and evaluating all physical security alarm and video systems for multiple Bank of the West facilities. Acts as communication liaison with various business units and Law Enforcement personnel in response to emergency and crisis situations. Completes critical security incident reporting and records all daily activities.
Monitors all alarm activations and conducts immediate visual assessments via CCTV systems. Upon assessment, uses sound judgment and requests law enforcement response to emergency alarm activations and situations.
Performs as Command and Control Center liaison ensuring appropriate management staff and law enforcement agencies receive critical notifications using established protocols and checklists.
Maintains a complete chronological record of all security incidents that occcur during a shift. Ensures all security records are error free and properly maintained and filed. Creates and distributes security incident reports in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures.
Ensures inoperable security systems are properly documented, service repairs are generated immediately and compensatory measures are in place until resolution of the service issues. Performs general programming of security alarm panels and DVRs during installation and troubleshoots inoperable equipment with service technicians.
Performs and documents required alarm testing with branch staff and conducts necessary follow up for resolution of failed equipment to ensure compliance with the Bank Protection Act (BPA).
Assists with the creation and processing of access control cards and ensures that cards that are reported as lost, stolen or terminated are promptly deactivated in compliance internal audit requirements.
Activates and distributes timely notifications using the Bank's emergency notification system per the established procedures.
Assists Corporate Security and Legal with requests for video review and distributes the video evidence as necessary.
Provides assistance to branch and back office personnel to resolve issues and answer questions on physical security issues.
Maintains and updates all records management documents.
Coordinates with local law enforcement or contract security vendor for after hour security support when necessary.
Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

High School - Not Applicable
Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or Security Administration - Preferred
Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
Requires 3 years minimum experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
