The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. This individual will have a proven track record of land surveying expertise. Additionally, this candidate will:Serve as a Party Chief of a survey crew to perform field work on civil engineering, construction and general surveying projects, including: topographic, ALTA, boundary, Right of Way and As-builtsProcess field data and perform staking calculations using LGOAccurately perform vertical and horizontal control surveys with necessary calculations under the direction of a Registered Land Surveyor and/or Party ChiefMaintain and operate all instruments and equipment needed to complete surveying tasksDemonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on project sitesWork outdoors in both developed and natural environmentsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.D equivalentFive yearsand#39; experience in Field SurveyingDemonstrated experience using computers in a professional environmentWorking knowledge of Leica Equipment, Processing Software, and Data CollectionAbility to work a flexible schedule with longer hours while maintaining concentration in varying weather conditionsDemonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skillsValid driverand#39;s license with acceptable driving recordAbility and willingness to perform work in both the field and office settingsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand frequentlyPreferred Qualifications:Associates Degree in Land Surveying, Drafting Technology or relatedLand Surveyor in Training (LSIT) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) CertificationDemonstrated experience with Auto CAD Civil 3DEandA is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
