Job DescriptionCurrently, we are seeking a talented Business Service Specialist to join the Retirement Solutions Division in Omaha, NE. The Retirement Solutions Division leverages its strengths in product development, technology, service and risk management to create retirement solutions for individuals, families, and businesses. With the guidance of financial professionals, customers have access to an array of annuities and mutual funds designed to help grow assets and to provide retirement income for financial independence. POSITION SUMMARY: Completes New Business Structured Settlement transactions under supervision, with focus in the following core areas: Good Order Review and Processing •Queue items are reviewed, along with contract information and department procedures/resources to determine good order.•Transaction details are correctly input into processing systems and system errors researched.•Technical knowledge is demonstrated.•Contract is accurately noted with all outstanding requirements.•Productivity and quality standards are met as established by Management.• “Escapes” are within or under the range determined by Management and oldest items in queue are worked first.•Rotates assignments in support of workflow needs, including accepting temporary assignments within Operations in support of other departments or contingency planning, as directed by Supervisor. Outbound Follow-up Contacts •Makes outbound calls to other financial services companies and registered representatives for outstanding requirements, courtesy calls and status updates.•Documents, notes, job-aids and other appropriate resources are reviewed prior to making call.•Operations outbound call guidelines are followed during all calls.•Image notes accurately reflect phone call, and correctly document status to ensure customer needs are addressed. FACTORS FOR SUCCESS: 1-2 years experience:• Ability to complete assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines• Ability to balance accuracy, speed, and customer service• Strong communication skills dealing with a variety of peoples, preferably in the financial services profession• Ability to work effectively in a team environment#LI-LK1
