CACI International Security Engineer, Lead (TS/SCI) Offutt AFB, NE in Offutt Afb, Nebraska

Job Description:


The candidate will be responsible for security architecture and systems engineering for the Identification, Authentication, and Authorization Service Provider Office which provides enterprise security services for the Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise – a shared IC environment for integrated intelligence operations in support of support of the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) DC2Ns mission and support of the execution of its Unified Command Plan (UCP) missions. Job duties will be performed in Omaha NE.



  • Providing expertise and guidance on operational information systems security practices.

  • Top Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain an SCI.

  • Familiarity with XACTA, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), or DIACAP KNOWAGE BASE.

  • Ability to ensure that the security requirements are met, including defining the security mode, protocols and standards.

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

  • Able to guide and ensure all security policies, practices, and procedures are implemented.

  • Ability to develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs). Maintain security, backup, and redundant strategies.

  • Ability to assist developers by reviewing system changes for adverse security impact.

  • Previous experience in the continuous monitoring techniques to evaluate the systems security posture

  • Able to evaluate vulnerabilities to ascertain if additional safeguards are needed.

  • Has a strong understanding of the fundamentals of technical security risk assessment


Requires bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject and seven+ years of practical experience.

Desired Qualifications:

· Master’s Degree and 15+ years of related experience

· Knowledge of the customer’s certification and accreditation process.

· Knowledge of and experience implementing the requirements in ICD 503

· Able to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to management and other stakeholders.

· Strong technical writing skills.

· Familiar with Public Key Infrastructure-based authentication

  • Current working relationship with 25th Air force


Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
