          The Department of Pharmacy has the responsibility for the implementation and coordination of drug control in the process of providing pharmaceutical care for patients of all ages within the Medical Center. Under the clinical supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician II assists pharmacists in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution, and record keeping functions in the delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to patients in accordance department policies and guidelines. The Pharmacy Technician II performs basic billing and inventory functions contributing to overall departmental workflow and process efficiency.

          Requirements:High school diploma or equivalency required. Certification from a nationally qualified Pharmacy Technician program required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a retail or institutional pharmacy environment required. Registration status as a pharmacy technician in the state of Nebraska required.
