The position will provide an end to end value proposition, supporting FieldCore’s fulfillment process with the focus on EHS execution and operational excellence (OE). The role is responsible for identifying process and procedural improvement opportunities,
solving complex challenges, generating content and supporting field Service Operations. Candidate will partner with FieldCore’s Quality and Asset management teams, driving continuous improvement, whilst owning EHS compliance and program management for FieldCore’s
global rooftops. This position reports to the Global EHS Operations & Growth Director.
Proven practical experience of Lean, Continuous Improvement (CI) in a service operations, heavy engineering or manufacturing environments.
Ability to support and drive improvement projects that have a measurable impact on business performance.
Support the development of robust, quantifiable processes to embed OE approach, such that it becomes business as usual and is sustained.
Ensure that the OE approach is delivered as part of a safe and compliant working environment for all on site; act as a role model.
Generate consistency between FieldCore’s EHS, Quality and Asset management organizations
Manage FieldCore’s global EHS rooftop locations.
Oversee and or generate appropriate agency submittals, reports or requests for information as it relates to rooftop operations.
Act as the SME for FieldCore’s global procurement practices.
Generate content to support the ITO to OTR process for all product lines and regions.
Perform field verification audits as required.
Develop, implement, and track to closure preventive measures and corrective action to process inconsistencies and service vulnerabilities.
Build and maintain relationships with Operation Leaders, Headquarter EHS, and Regional EHS Leaders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelors or 4-year degree from an accredited university or college in EHS, Operations, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management or related field
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in Environment, Health & Safety
Operational Excellence/Lean Qualification (Green/Black Belt) and an ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of OE / Lean tools and methodology
5 or more years of field service experience
Internal Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001)
Lead Investigator (TOPSET, TAPROOT)
Strong knowledge of GE’s Power Services and/or Granite Services’ field operations and services business model.
Strong leadership capabilities
Deep understanding of EHS, Risk and Compliance
Global experience executing EHS programs
Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside of FieldCore (customers and regulatory agencies)
High energy, self-starter
Strong change management, oral and written communication skills
Certification in EHS; CSP, ASP; CMIOSH, etc.
Strong writing skills; comfortable writing technical documents and general EHS communications
Strong listening skills; able to drive a positive employee relations culture into the field
