Upkeep and repair of buildings, equipment and grounds
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, use hands and fingers to push, pull, carry, reach above head and lift and lower over 60 lbs. The employee may also be required to work at heights
Able to work required hours and dependable work attendance
Troubleshoot issues based on criteria of test results performed
Perform basic mechanical work such as replacing starters, batteries, brakes and pneumatic and hydraulic components on machinery
Perform basic maintenance work with hand tools, air tools, torches and grinders
To understand and perform all lockout/tag out procedures through training
Assess overall quality during and after production of product
Maintain housekeeping and organization of work area
Work as part of a team to achieve a common goal
Follow all workplace safety standards
All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalency Degree required
6+ months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
Basic understanding of electrical circuitry and electrical power
Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and circuits
Basic reading, writing, measuring and math aptitude
Basic knowledge of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
Ability to climb and work from ladders as well as climb and work while tied off at elevated heights
Ability to work in confined spaces
